A day in the life as a Sales Associate...

• Demonstrate and model sales techniques, customer service, merchandising and teamwork.
• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services provided by HOULTE.
• Ensure full knowledge of all products and remain up to date with the latest available information.
• Keep current on advertising, promotions and catalogs, as well as merchandise conditions.
• Model the company's customer service standards by providing friendly, fast, efficient and fun service to all customers.
• Consistently execute the HOULTE sales process and strive to provide a great experience for all customers.
• Focus on driving sales and achieving sales goals.
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving sales techniques to maintain a solutions-oriented focus.
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
• Model and reinforce the company's customer service standards.
• Interact positively with customers and focus on customer needs.
• Assist customers in merchandise selection and provide friendly and efficient service.
• Develop and utilize sales techniques and principles including approach, rapport building, need discovery, answering objections, closing, follow-up, post-sale service, and ongoing contact with all previous and prospective customers.
• Maximize the impact of store promotions, marketing campaigns, and grassroots programs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product lines.

What you’ll bring to the table…

• Experience in customer service, sales experience and the ability to close sales preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively, build rapport and make a positive impact.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others on a team.
• Ability to schedule work schedules and hours based on business needs.
• Ability to proactively complete assigned goals, tasks and objectives in the evenings as needed, and proactively achieve more.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel.
• Good reading and written language skills (English), good communication skills.

Guaranteed Starting Salary: Guaranteed Starting Salary + Base Salary + Commission
In addition to salary, depending on your position, employees may also be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives.
