This sconce is beautiful with the clear, heavy crystal pillars that help the light shine through in a more interesting way. The metal portion is nicely finished and sturdy. All of that said, the assembly is much more difficult than it needs to be. The product arrives with the crystal pillars separate from the metal frame. To attach them, you need to tighten a small screw at the end of each pillar. Note that the screws do not actually "bite" into the crystal...the only threading is in the metal frame portion. Four rubber washers are provided that theoretically should go between the crystal and the metal housing. This is very difficult. I recommend having someone hold the crystal pillar as you maneuver it onto the screws.

Once you get the crystals assembled, the installation of the light fixture is straightforward. Make certain to secure it well to the wall as the fixture is very heavy. Overall, it's a beautiful sconce, but I feel that the difficulty in assembly makes it not quite as good a value for the money as it could otherwise be.
