Better Than Expected with a Dog
At first, I was worried that a light-colored rug would be hard to keep clean, especially since we have a dog at home. After using it for a few weeks, it has been better than expected. They Took Care of the Issue
When I received this rug, I noticed some damage and scratches on the outer packaging. To be honest, I was a little unhappy when I first saw the package, because Houlte’s products are not exactly inexpensive compared with some similar options. I had decided to place the order partly because their customer service felt professional and responded quickly during our communication.
I understood that the damage to the outer packaging was most likely caused during third-party shipping or unloading, but I still took detailed photos of the damaged areas right away and contacted the Houlte support team. Customer service replied quickly and suggested that I open the package first to check whether the rug itself had been damaged. They also let me know that my order included shipping protection and that they would do their best to help address the situation.
In the end, the rug itself was not damaged, and it looked great once laid out. What touched me was that although this issue was not entirely caused by Houlte, they did not avoid responsibility. Instead, they proactively offered a solution and tried their best to take care of my shopping experience.
This after-sales experience made me trust Houlte more. For large home products like this, there will always be some uncertainty during transportation, but when a brand is willing to communicate promptly and take appropriate responsibility, it gives customers much more peace of mind.

Soft, Warm, and Natural
The color of this rug is softer than it looks in the photos. It is not a cold white, so it does not feel out of place at home. Since it contains wool, there was a little bit of loose fiber at first, but it was within an acceptable range and became much more stable after being laid out for a while.

Comfortable for Kids
We have a young child at home who often sits on the rug to play with toys, so the texture was important to me. This rug does not feel hard underfoot, and it is not noticeably scratchy. I feel comfortable letting my child play on it, and it also makes the living room feel warmer.
