The biggest change this media console brought to my living room is the overall style. The black cabinet finish paired with the arched rattan doors gives it a unique look compared with a traditional TV stand, while still feeling warm and inviting.

The size works well with my TV setup, and the interior storage is practical for organizing media devices, magazines, and other living room items. The woven rattan panels soften the darker cabinet color, and the combination of black wood, natural texture, and my wood flooring creates a balanced and comfortable atmosphere. Daily cleaning is also simple — I just use a soft cloth to wipe the surface.

After receiving this media console, I found that it required more assembly than some other furniture pieces. The package arrived fully disassembled, including the cabinet structure, doors, and internal components, so the installation process required some patience and attention to detail.

During the assembly, I had some questions, especially when adjusting the doors and aligning the hardware. I contacted Houlte customer service, and they responded quickly with helpful guidance to assist me through the process. Although the assembly took some time, the finished product made it worth the effort. Once completed, the console feels very sturdy and looks well built.

Be warned: this thing is HEAVY! Make sure you have a friend to help you unbox. But once it's in place, you can tell it’s not that cheap IKEA-style stuff. The doors align perfectly (which is rare for rattan) and it feels like a legacy piece that will survive several house moves. The low profile is great because it makes my high ceilings pop.
